The aim of these user groups are to share good practice, learn new skills and find out about resources.  The first meetings took place at St. Andrews Lower in Biggleswade and Beecroft Lower in Dunstable where issues such as Ofsted’s comments on effective use of IWBs, how schools have organised resources for easy access and demonstration of commercial software/teacher produced Notebooks that schools have found useful were discussed.  We were also able to evaluate websites that schools use regularly to download resources.  It is the intention that different schools will host the meetings giving everyone the opportunity of visiting colleagues in other locations.  These meetings will be held once a term for one hour after school (4 – 5 p.m.) and are an opportunity for teachers to get together for an informal discussion and share their experiences.  


Unfortunately the Promethean User Group had to be postponed, but we are hoping to run two groups, one for ActivPrimary and one for ActivStudio2.  Robert Bloomfield Middle School have offered to host the first ActivStudio 2 meeting and Kempston Rural Lower will be hosting the ActivPrimary meeting.
