| The SIMS Helpsheet ‘Admissions and Transfers’ will guide users through the import of ATF files received from Beds LA. Once PreAdmission pupil details are in your SIMS system it is possible to create lists, class groups and mail merge letters. There is a course currently offered at Doolittle Mill, Ampthill which will provide a ‘hands on’ experience of using SIMS to import ATF files and to manage PreAdmission pupil data. First Language Import Helpsheet to be used with the appropriate file for
your phase:
Special Schools Language import file;
Lower Schools Language import file ;
Upper/Middle Schools Language import file
Helpsheet 371 details the process which you need to carry out in order to put the new DfES Attendance codes onto your system. The zip file called: 'Zip of 2 files for absence codes patch.zip' needs to be downloaded onto your computer and unzipped. The helpsheet explains how to use the patch.
Helpsheet 405 contains timetable and academic information and supplements the Primary End of Year Procedures document. You only need Helpsheet 405 if you use Nova-T.

Helpsheet380 and Data Collection Reports gives guidance on how to import and run the reports in SIMS .net.
