Upper Schools - Diplomas and the Unique Learner Number (ULN) - registration of pupils and schools  (April 2008)

• >>>>Mode of Travel codes - for schools with School Travel Plans, the usual method of travelling to school needs to be record for each pupil on roll. To assist with this collection, you can use the Mode of Travel Data Collection form and customise it for your school. All schools are, however, encouraged to record this data item if schools already have this information regardless of whether they have a School Travel Plan in place as yet.

• Admission Transfer Files (ATF) - an ATF file (containing basic pupil details  such as name, address, SEN history, KS assessments, school history) of pupils transferring in September 2007 will be sent to each Middle and Upper school by IPG (via AVCO) in the next few weeks. Lower and Middle schools will not need to send CTFs to destination schools at this stage - however CTFs must be sent at the end of the term in the normal way so that destination schools can receive attendance data and any updated pupil details.
  CapitaSIMS schools - refer to the CapitaSIMS Helpsheets in the left index to access a Helpsheet providing instructions on how to import an ATF into your MIS system.
  Integris schools should refer to the Integris Bulletin Board for instructions on how to import an ATF.
   

• Exporter for Sims.net schools:  Install Exporter software - follow the instructions to download and install the Exporter software onto your PC that has the Avco software installed. XPorter Spreadsheet containing 'Extract times' as per instructions.
