the reality of work experience placements and raise awareness of health
and safety issues. Useful tools include games, lesson plans,
worksheets, and a resource centre full of materials for the classroom.
Think U Know Child Exploitation and Online Protection
(CEOP)
Centre, contains loads of information on how to stay safe online.
All hot topics are covered – including mobiles, blogging
and gaming sites – and you can tell us if you feel uncomfortable
or worried about someone you’re chatting to online.
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents A useful resource
centre that aims to support those who work with children and young
people to promote safety. A range of tools are available,
including videos, posters, publications, training opportunities and
in-depth Health & Safety guidelines for a wide range of activities.
The E-Safety Conference will
be held on 4th December 2008, 9:30am - 3:30pm.
