Welcome to the Silsoe After-School Care Club

and Breakfast Club

Mrs Golder, Mrs Moss and Mrs Watson run the clubs every day in the building that they share with Silsoe Pre-School Group. The sessions run from 7.50 until 8.50 in the mornings and 3.30 until 5.30 after school. Only children at Silsoe School are eligible to use the club - reception through to year four. Bookings are made in advance (usually half termly) via a form that is given out to everyone. Many days are full although there are spaces usually on a Wednesday and there may be cancellations from time to time.

The charges are :

£2.00 per session for regular bookings

£2.50 per session for occasional users

A whole range of activities are available including these :

painting,

puppets,

clay,

a house corner,

outside activities,

large construction,

toys,

board games,

jigsaws.

In 1999 the club received a grant of £1000 from the local Round Table and bought some new equipment including a snooker table that can be adapted for lots of other exciting games.
