Class One - Summer Term 2000

Class One have welcomed in some new children this term who have all settled in well and made lots of new friends. The children are all working on an 'Our World' topic this term doing lots of exciting activities.

They are finding out about 'Our World', learning their own addresses and looking at interesting items from other countries. In the classroom they are making a jungle and finding out about lots of different animals. They are using a program called 'Splosh' to paint butterflies with symmetrical patterns and they are learning about the life cycles of butterflies and frogs.

This is by one of the children and is part of a beautiful display in the corridor.

This photograph shows some of the rainforest scene the children created in their quiet corner.
