Class Two have
been working on their 'Our World' topic this term doing lots of exciting
work with Mrs Purdue. They have started by studying the school environment,
will move onto investigate the village of Silsoe and compare life here
with a tropical rainforest. They will find our about special pages and
visit the local church.
One of their favourite
things has been finding out all about pets and they had quite a few brought
into school including : hamsters, gerbils, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits
.....
The class decided
on some sensible rules for looking after animals.
They also looked at finding information using books and CD Rom and talked about which was best for different occasions.
Our topic book covers have a mixture of drawing and collage.
The rainforest display has some bright and lively masks that the children made in art and design.
Mrs Purdue collected together artefacts from all the classes to put together this fascinating display in the hall.
