We began our Millennium
Project in October of 1999 and finished it in November 2000 ! Our aim was
to produce a beautiful cross-stitch showing famous event and people from
the last Millennium. The children had been busy having lots of turns each
so that they could feel that they had contributed to lots of sections using
different colours. Teachers, support staff, dinner ladies ... in fact,
everyone involved in the school had their turn.
Our sewing is on display
in our entrance with a book that the older children put together to celebrate
their own achievement and the achievements of all the people featured.
