Programmes in School Business Management

  • Do you have a desire to develop your professional role and in doing so make a significant contribution to school effectiveness?

  • Are you motivated to engage in relevant, challenging and accredited professional development?

  • Do you work in school administration or are you a school business manager or bursar?

If you have answered yes to all of the above questions then a Programme in School Business Management could be the answer to your professional development needs.

Certificate in School Business Management (CSBM)

Diploma in School Business Management (DSBM)

Developed by the National College for School Leadership (NCSL) and accredited by the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM), the programmes will enable you to develop your leadership and management expertise through a range of different learning techniques. The aim of these programmes is to equip you with the tools to maximise the impact you have within your current role as well as developing an understanding of the more strategic implications, providing scope for your involvement in the ongoing business development of your school.

Both programmes are fully funded and are usually completed within 12 months. They involve a blend of face-to-face and online learning, and provide excellent progression opportunities to full BA honours and Masters Level.

The CSBM programme is also available as a local programme (face-to-face sessions hosted at a local venue with no residential requirement) subject to demand. If this option is of interest to you, please email sbm@anglia.ac.uk.

NCSL data shows that 28 participants in your region have already successfully achieved the CSBM, actively taking control of their professional development and enhancing their professional roles. You too could share in this success.
