This group exists to support schools and teachers who work with ICT in Special Schools of all types. The majority of attenders tend to be responsible for ICT in their schools but teachers who have an interest in ICT but are not specialists are very welcome, too.

We meet once every half term and, as our member schools are very spread out, we choose a different location for each meeting. This way, members sometimes have to travel a long way but (hopefully) get some that are nearby.

The issues we meet to discuss are varied and sometimes depend on current trends but we give a lot of time to looking at software and hardware that will be suitable for students with special needs. Although our schools are very varied we find that there are often common factors and the members can draw profitably on each others' experiences.
